Brief History
Introduction
The Faculty of Engineering of the Osun State College of Technology (OSCOTECH), Esa-Oke has been in existence since the inception of the following a successful resource inspection and approval by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE)
It is a leading technological hub dedicated to training professional who cam design, build, operate, and maintain critical infrastructure. The faculty offers both National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes and it’s committed to delivering quality engineering education through a well-structured academic curriculum and systematic teaching an d learning processes.
Vision
The vision of the Faculty of Engineering is to produce highly skilled, practical and job-ready engineering professionals who will be in high demand in industry by virtue of their well-developed engineering stills, professionalism and academic integrity.
Administration
The Faculty of Engineering is currently headed by the Dean, Engr. (Dr.) J.A. Ajobo.
Each department within the faculty is supervised by a Head of Department (HOD), ensuring effective administration and academic coordination.
Engineering Facilities
The faculty is known for its strong emphasis on hands-on practical learning. Students have access to well-equipped engineering workshops, laboratories, and specialized facilities, including advanced mechatronics laboratories and modern engineering equipment.
