Brief History
Faculty of pure and Applied Sciences was established in the year 2014 from Faculty of Engineering with three Departments which are:
(1) Department of Mathematics and Statistics
(2) Department of Computer Science
(3) Department of Science Laboratory Technology
Over the years the Faculty of pure and Applied Sciences has experience a tremendous growth and have accredited more courses under auspices of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). Presently, the Faculty of pure and Applied Sciences is having Six Departments.
These are:
(1) Department of Mathematics and Statistics
(2) Department of Science Laboratory Technology
(3) Department of Life Sciences
(4) Department of Physical Sciences
(5) Department of Agricultural Technology.
(6) Department of Food Science and Technology
